Use latex rubber where chemical challenges are limited (soaps and
detergents) and there is no concern for allergic reaction from this
natural rubber product.
Vinyl is used where chemical challenges are more pronounced (water
based paint, mild skin irritants) and latex rubber is banned to
prevent allergic reaction from natural rubber.
Use nitrile rubber where resistance to abrasion and puncture is a
factor, chemical challenges are harsh (paint strippers and solvents)
and latex rubber is banned to prevent allergic reaction from natural
rubber.
